Full Disclosure

Blogging is so much fun and we enjoy interacting with you and exchanging ideas; however, as a blogger, there are also opportunities for us to earn monetary compensation for what we do. Running a blog does have its expenses, such as hosting, graphic licenses, time, shopping for supplies for those AMAZING crafts we like to make, and so much more. In order to offset those costs, we will find ways to be paid, but it will always be with you, our reader/visitor in mind. We won’t ever share a product or service we haven’t used or we don’t believe is beneficial to you.

Please read through the following forms of compensation, so you are aware of these practices on this site. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are solely ours and we do our best to always be honest and transparent in what we share.

Affiliate Links

We are affiliates for many of the products and services we use and/or recommend. That means when you click on the link on our site and purchase whatever product or service being offered, we may receive a percentage of that purchase, at no extra cost to you. If you don’t feel comfortable doing that, please feel free to go straight to the source for the product or service.

In full disclosure, we will try our best to indicate in all of our posts whether or not the post has affiliate links. At the beginning of each post, you will see this statement, which means any links from there on out could be of an affiliate nature.

This post may contain affiliate links. Read our Full Disclosure policy here.

We will also strive to end all of our posts with this disclosure, reminding you again of how our affiliate links work.

Disclosure: Some of the links in the post above may be affiliate links. This means if you click on the link and purchase the item, we may receive an affiliate commission. We only recommend products or services we use personally and believe will add value to our readers. Read our full disclosure policy here.

Direct Sales

We are entrepreneurs. We own “brick and mortar” businesses and online stores. We are also members of Direct Sales/MLM companies. A well run and structured Direct Sales/MLM is undoubtedly the easiest and best way to start running your own business as they normally have low start-up and overhead costs and training provided that develops you beyond selling the product. We only involve ourselves in companies that we believe in, support 100% and truly use and enjoy their products.

What does this mean? It means that we are Representatives/Ambassadors for a Direct Sales company and we may receive commissions through links in a post should you choose to purchase a product and/or join our Direct Sales team.

In full disclosure, we will strive to indicate in all of our posts whether or not we are a Representative/Ambassador of that company. At the beginning of each related post, you will see this statement, which means links may direct you to our Representative/Ambassador site.

This post may contain links to our Representative/Ambassador site. Read our Full Disclosure policy here.

We will also strive to end all of our posts with this disclosure, reminding you again of how our links work.

Disclosure: Some of the links in the post above may be links to our Representative/Ambassador Web site. This means if you click on the link, you will be directed to our Representative/Ambassador page. We are involved only in products and/or services we use personally and believe in.  Read our full disclosure policy here.

Sponsored Posts

From time to time we may receive free products in exchange for our open and honest review. (We are still waiting for the new Cadillac Escalade to review.) While we will often use an affiliate link when mentioning these products, we will never recommend that you purchase a product just because we receive compensation. If we are not convinced of its value, we will be clear in our review.

Companies may also offer us monetary compensation to write about them in a post, or to share our experience. Again, we will only accept these offers if we believe they legitimately benefit you.

These posts will begin with the following statement or similar, so you’ll know exactly which posts are sponsored.

The following is a sponsored post, which means we are compensated in some form for writing it. However, we only share this post because we truly think you’ll enjoy what this company has to offer!

We will also strive to end all of our posts with this disclosure, reminding you again of how our sponsored links work.

Disclosure of Material Connection: We received this product free from < business name here >. We were not required to write a positive review. The opinions we have expressed are our own. Read our full disclosure policy here.

Third-Party Advertising

Have you ever searched for something on the Internet, maybe at Amazon.com and then went to your Facebook page and saw the same product advertised over on the side? This really bites at Christmas when ordering something for a kid online and thinking you are pretty sneaky getting that shopping done on the sly, and then you head on over to Facebook only to have said kid walk up to ask a question and then that kid points to the computer screen and with excited little eyes says, “OH! One of those would be SO cool to have!” With a stutter and fumble to come up with, “Uh, yeah! Wouldn’t it be cool?”

Along those lines, we may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Web site. These companies may use “interest based’ information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, please see: http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp
